What is USA National Miss?

Hello! And welcome to the new blog for USA National Miss! Where you will be able to find out all of the news about the newest crown in town! My name is Jennifer Martin, and I am going to be posting all of the exciting things that will happen throughout this year, and I am also the Georgia State Public Relations Assistant. Just a bit of background information about me... I am a 20 year old Sophomore attending Middle Georgia State College working on a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology. I have been involved with pageants since the age of 7 and have won numerous local and state titles. I'm very excited to be a part of the USA National Miss family, and I can't wait to meet each an every one of you. For those of you who have never heard of the system before, here is what you need to know.

Since 2010, the USA National Miss Scholarship Organization is a national pageant program that combines all the beauty and excitement of pageantry with the glamour and energy of a runway fashion show - while recognizing the personal achievement, community involvement and academic excellence of young women all across the USA. Our program is designed to award young women for their accomplishments, and to mentor them to reach their goals and unleash their true potential. USA National Miss will award six prestigious national titles and thousands in cash scholarships at the June 2014 national pageant in Daytona Beach, Florida.,
Customize Your Pageant Experience
USA National Miss is a fashion-forward system that allows our delegates the opportunity to combine their love of pageantry with other optional elements to custom design their pageant experience- whether their focus is on fashion and modeling, or talent, education, community service, and mentorship. We celebrate individuality! At nationals, each delegate will compete in evening gown, interview and a red carpet runway fashion show- a fun, exciting and upbeat runway fashion event where each delegate can showcase their unique sense of style and personality on a real runway. We will also be awarding distinguished optional titles: USA National Role Model, USA National Supermodel, USA National Cover Model, and USA National Talented Miss.
At USA National Miss, we know that girls just wanna have fun! We skillfully mix social events within the competition so that delegates can have fun, meet new friends from across the USA, and take home memories they will cherish for the rest of their lives. We also encourage community involvement and charity work through our "charity swap" where girls can learn about new charity involvement opportunities from other delegates. And in keeping with the tradition of pageantry, our system encourages young women to be graceful, articulate, accomplished females with strong values and self worth. USA National Miss presents a positive approach to pageantry - no swimsuit competition, no experience necessary, no mandatory talent and no make-up in our younger divisions. We strive to develop leadership, public speaking and communication skills while building self-confidence among the nation's young women.
Custom Design Your Reign
Knowing that each young woman who participates in our program has unique talents, gifts, goals and interests, we fashioned our program so that our national royalty can custom design their reign to align it with their own personal goals in order to achieve their dreams. Whether their interest are geared toward a career in modeling, talent development, or they want to further their charity work and find mentorship opportunities - or anything in between - USA National Miss provides a platform to fulfill dreams! Having a unique focus and custom designed plan for each queen allows for personal growth, success and fulfillment during their reign. In addition, our royalty participate in a variety of activities together, forming a bond of sisterhood that is sure to last a lifetime.
